Entitled guy tries to reserve mall parking spot with his body, then calls the police on a patron for trying to park there: ‘He got a warning for a false police report’

  • A man stands with his arms crossed, pasted over an image of an empty parking garage lot.
  • "Guy tried to take my parking spot by standing in it then called the cops when I parked anyway"

The audacity of some people is absolutely unreal.
  • I was at the mall yesterday and the parking lot was PACKED. I'm driving
  • around looking for a spot when I see someone pulling out. I put my blinker on and wait.
  • As the car pulls out this guy RUNS from across the lot and stands in the empty spot with his arms
  • spread out. He yells "SAVED! My wife is coming with the car!"
  • I rolled down my window and said that's not how parking spots work, I was here first waiting. He said
  • "Too bad! I'm standing here and you can't park on a person!"
  • An empty parking garage lot.
  • I looked around and saw his wife's car was like 6 rows away still looking. I said
  • I'm not waiting for your wife to drive across the lot when I'm literally here. He said "Hit me then! I'll sue!"
  • I slowly pulled in forcing him to move (I wasn't going to actually hit him obviously). He had
  • to jump out of the way and started SCREAMING at me. Called me every name in the book.
  • Then he called the COPS. Actual police. Told them I "assaulted him with my vehicle" and "threatened his life."
  • Cops came, looked at mall security footage, told him he can't reserve parking spots by
  • standing in them and I did nothing wrong. He got a warning for false police report.
  • The entitlement to think you can reserve a parking spot with your body is wild.
  • Beneficial-Hornet_ Not even surprised, some people have a kids mentality in their 40s in the worst way possible.
  • neuhauz Yelling SAVED is right up there with, "I licked it so it's mine!" This isn't tag. What manner of wizard incantation does the "SAVED" spell come from? Or is it a video game power move?
  • That_CDN_guy "You can't park on a person." "No, I shouldn't park on a person, I easily could."
  • Agreeable_Dark6408 He really should get in trouble for that particular lie to the police.
